Essentially green came to me and wanted a complete e-commerce solution. The only concept they had was an “eco-firendly theme.
After designing the complete website. I talked to them about their product line and how often they would update it. Once I knew they would be updating it quarterly, I knew they needed a solution that would allow for quick adding/removing of products and images.
After developing the infrastructure with PHP and XML, it’s now possible to open up one text file and make quick edits to change the full product line. Keeping product line updates cost effective.
